Alease Bowman Bass, 83 , died Tuesday at her home. She was a retired Philip Morris USA employee. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Bass, Sr., and son Isaac Bass. Survivors her children, Ernest, Jr., Katherine, Elijah, Rachel Bass, Carolyn Richardson, Ernestine Barbour, Sarah Bass Robinson; 27 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren. Wake 6-9pm Friday at W.T. Shumake & Daughters Funeral Home 3815 Newburg Road. Funeral 11AM Saturday at Kingdom Fellowship Christian Life Center 4530 Poplar Level Rd. Burial Evergreen Cemetery.
