​Antonio Lamontez Porter, 18, of Louisville died Wednesday, Octber 19, 2022.



Visitation 10-12 Thursday, October 27, 2022 at W.T. Shumake & Daughters Funeral Home 3815 Newburg Road. Funeral to follow at 12pm.



Antonio Lamontez Porter was born Wednesday, January 28, 2004, to Elizabeth Porter and Antonio Yancey in Louisville, Kentucky. He was reared and spent a lot of time with his grandmother and grandfather, Thelma Faye Mattingly and John Mattingly. They affectionately nicknamed him “Roo”.



Growing up, Antonio loved all types of music. He inherited this love of music from his mother, Elizabeth. He was partial to Rod Wave, No Cap, Polo G, and NBA Young Boy. Tombstone and Ghetto Angels were two of his favorite songs.



Antonio was loved by everyone who met him. Family was always important to him. In fact, he would spend time with his uncles Jude (Rica), Jamar (Iman), Donnie (Ariel), Kelvin; aunts, Emily (Michael), Cierra and best friend Jay Rutlege.



His grandparents, Thelma and John Mattingly, preceded him in death. On Wednesday morning, October 19, 2022, Antonio Lamontez Porter departed this life. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Elizabeth Hancock (Len), father Antonio Yancey; siblings, Jazlynn Hancock, Emmanuel Hancock, Olivia Hancock, Otezla Hancock, and Mikhi Herthel; grandmother Edie Cole, grandfather Donald Rucker (Lasonya). great-grandmother Mary Williams (Daniel) and great-grandfather Ullyses Rucker (Vanessa); uncles Anthony Porter, Jude Porter (Rica), Jamar Rucker (Iman), Donald Rucker, Kelvin Brown, Terry Yancey, and Terrance Yancey; aunts Jerrice Yancey, Dawn Crenshaw, Tomi Porter, Angela Stewart, Tara Ward (Anthony), Emily Rucker (Michael), Cierra Rucker-Bobbitt, Alysea Rucker, and Nevaeh Rucker. A very special friend Yensi Cordero and a host of cousins, additional family, and friends.
