Airruce J'Von Clayton, 34, of Louisville departed this life on Wednesday, October 22, 2025.
Visitation 11- 12 Monday, November 3, 2025 at Newbug Church of Christ 4700 E. Indan Trail. Funeral to follow at 12 noon. Burial Petersburg-Newburg Cemetery.
Airrice J’Von Clayton was born Tuesday, October 8, 1991, in Louisville, Kentucky to Alisha Johnson and Eric Truitt. He was one of 13 children. At the age of 32, Airrice accepted Christ and began his Christian journey. He was a loving father of two sons. In his spare time, Airrice enjoyed singing, dancing, drawing, joking and spending time with his family. He loved to make people laugh.
If there was a party, Airrice became the life of the party. He was also creative, lyrically talented, and artistic. Airrice was “Tha Art of Tha Struggle” rapping and doing tattoos were his passion. His friendly charisma resulted in those close to him thinking and saying, "Airrice never met a stranger." He was known to befriend everyone and found time to use his talents every single day.
Airrice knew and was truly thankful for his bloodline and often stated, “I really come from greatness, and I am truly thankful for my loved ones." He fulfilled a promise made to his son which brought him so much joy!
On Wednesday, October 22, 2025, Airrice J’Von Clayton transitioned from this life. He leaves behind to cherish their memories of him: his parents, Alisha Johnson and Eric Truitt; children, Kuaveion Clayton and Ari Clayton; fiancée, Allena Tavis; siblings, Airrin Sisk, Jawn White, Magan Truitt, Lee’Erica Truitt, Karita Wooten, Frances Poynt, Storrie Truitt, Joshua Perry, Brandon Parker, Erick Wathen, Kamau Kiambu, and Demetrius Flournoy; aunts, Dorthea Abernathy and Lisa Truitt; grandmother, Frances Truitt; and a host of cousins and friends.
Airrice J'Von Clayton is preceded in death by his great grandparents, Kenneth Gibbs, Earl and Cynthia Clayton; grandparents, Frank Manese and Deborah Clayton; and aunt, Tara Clayton.
