Bernetta Denise White, 55, of Louisville transitioned on Friday, October 1, 2026.

Visitation 10-12 Saturday, October 10, 2026, at Community Hope Baptist Church 6416 Vandre Avenue. Funeral to follow at 12 Noon.

Life is a precious gift, and the White family was blessed with double joy when Bernetta Denise White and her identical twin sister, Armenta Detrice White, were born on June 1, 1971.
At an early age, Bernetta accepted Christ as her personal Lord and Savior. She was baptized at Forest Tabernacle Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. James H. Anderson, Jr. In 2012, she joined Community Hope Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir and shared beloved selections, including Glory & Honor, Praise Jehovah, Rejoice, Best Days, and Holy Forever. She also served as a member of the Women of Faith and as a Vacation Bible School teacher’s assistant, faithfully supporting all church ministries.

Bernetta was a loving and caring woman who shared a special bond with her daughter, Kayla. She graduated from Moore High School in 1990 and later attended Jefferson Community College. On Friday, October 2, 2026, the Lord called Bernetta home. She leaves a beautiful legacy of love and countless treasured memories.

Bernetta was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret White; her father, William Murphy; her daughter, Kalia; and her siblings, Celeste, Wannetta, Wanda, Margaret (TreTre), Armenta (her twin), and Robert.
She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Kayla; her siblings, Jimmy (Dolly), Melvin (Gabe), Marilyn, Willis, Clara, Beverly, Phillip (Niecy), Cheryl, Kenneth (Michele), Jonathan (Deidra), Jane, William, Jr., Quintin, and Adrianne; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
