Memorial Service 3:00pm Sunday, July 26, 2026, at W.T. Shumake & Daughters Funeral Home 3815 Newburg Road.

Carmen Cumal Jones was born on April 11, 1975, in Louisville, KY, to Linda Green and William Jackson. She lived a life filled with many accomplishments, earning multiple degrees throughout her career. Known for being strong-willed, hard-working, and opinionated, Cumal excelled in various medical roles, including CNA, Phlebotomist, and Medical Assistant. She truly believed in working hard for her goals and always doing her best. Outside of work, she enjoyed reading, traveling with her grandkids, going to the casino, and helping those around her. Her warm smile and laughter will be deeply missed.

On Tuesday, July 21, 2026, God called her home to rest. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her adopted children Willie and Shaleta Beal; her mother, Linda Green; and her father, William Jackson. She is also survived by her sister, Tina Jones; her grandchildren, JaNiya, JaCoby, JaCory, and Willie Beal IV; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and lifelong friends.
She is preceded in death by her sister, Lisha Jones (resting in peace).
