Charlotte Arlinda Simmons Dunn, 72, of Louisville died Friday, August 5, 2022 at Baptist Health.
Visitation Saturday, August 13, 2022 10am-11am. at Forest Tabernacle Baptist Church 4205 E. Indian Trail. Funeral to follow at 11am.
Charlotte Arlinda Simmons Dunn was born on May 9, 1950 to Claude Simmons, Sr. and Edith Brown Simmons, the 3rd of eight children.
She accepted Christ at an early age at Virginia Avenue Baptist Church. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1968. later she attended Jefferson Community College and University of Louisville, majoring in Education. She was united in Holy Matrimony to Harry W. Dunn, Jr.
She was a loving, generous, and giving person. Often opening her home to those who needed one. She would go above and beyond even though she didn't have to. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles, watching old TV shows, playing bingo, and having a good fish fry. With out a doubt, she loved her family.
On August 5, 2022, God called Charlotte Arlinda Simmons Dunn home. She leaves to cherish her memories, her only child Veronica; three grandchildren Kevin, Brendon, Gregory; 10 great grandchildren, Kanellle, Rya, Brayden, Jayla, Travis, Corey, Curtis, Caleb, Addonis, and Aubrie; five sisters, Theresa, Ellen, Gwendolyn, Carolyn, and Sybil; one brother, Earl; her aunt Ada Wimbley and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncle, relatives and friends
