David Quinn Wilson, 61, of Louisville died Friday, May 13, 2022



Funeral Services 2:00pm Thursday, May 26, 2022 at W.T. Shumake & Daughters Funeral Home 3815 Newburg Road. Burial to follow in Historic Petersburg-Newburg Cemetery.



David Quinn Wilson was born on February 9, 1961, to William Wilson and Norma Jean Sizemore Wilson. He was the 5th of 7 children. In fact, he was the second son born to this family.



Educated in the Jefferson County Public School system, David attended Thomas Jefferson High School and decided to join the United States National Guard. Not wanting to be confined to one area, David’s journey allowed him to travel around to various cities before returning to Louisville. He was a very private person who enjoyed watching basketball and football, especially the Minnesota Vikings.



On Friday, May 13, 2022, David Quinn Wilson departed this life. He is survived by his siblings, Norman Sizemore (Donna), Phyllis Wilson Lacey, Donna Wilson, Damon Wilson (Vickie), and Angie Wilson Johnson; and a host of relatives and friends. He will be missed.
