Dennis Coffey, 70, of Louisville transitioned on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at Norton Women and Children Hospital.
Visitation 10-12 Saturday, January 18, 2025 at Newburg Church of Christ 4700 E. Indian Trail. Funeral to follow at 12pm. Burial Peterburg- Newburg Cemetery.
Dennis Coffey, was born October 24,1954 to Wilbert and Agnes Coffey in Louisville, Kentucky, were he lived all his life.
Dennis accepted Christ at a young age and was baptized at Cedar Street Church of Christ by Minister Frank McGill, which is now Midwest Church of Christ. He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School were he was on the football team and helped them to win the 1973 championship. He worked in the Kroger meat department for many years. He later went to work for Bob Evans were he retired. Dennis enjoyed family cookouts, playing BidWiz, and cooking. Dennis loved his children and enjoyed spending time with them and his family. He was an avid Louisville Cardinals fan and loved watching them play football and basketball.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbert and Agnes Coffey; brother, Wilbert Coffey Jr; and his grandson, Dontae’ Masden.
Dennis Coffey gained his wings on January 4, 2025 at the age of 70. He leaves to cherish his memories, one daughter, Tosha Masden of Louisville, KY; one son, Keith Titus of Atlanta, GA; four brothers, Allen Wayne, George and Frank (Terian) Coffey all of Louisville, KY and CarlRay (Shonda) Coffey of Atlanta, GA; seven grandchildren, Vaniesha Taylor, Deandre’ Masden, Lessie Moore-Hancel, Jada Baker, Keina Titus, Keith Titus, and Javon Titus; seven great-grandchildren, Breeya Masden, Makyah Taylor, Malakhi Taylor, Tayon Masden, Jamir Baker, Juelz Hewitt, Lauren Hancel, Emeral Titus, and Xaliima Titus; two special nieces, Antoinette Coffey-Young and Angela Coffey-Miller; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family members, and friends.
