Donna Marie Reed, of Louisville, Kentucky, made her grand entrance on August 30th, 1977. She took her last bow on November 19th, 2025, surrounded by the love of her close family.
A service to honor Donna’s life will be held on Sunday, November 23rd, from 1:00–3:00 PM at W. T. Shumake & Daughters Funeral Home located in the heart of where she spent her childhood years, 3815 Newburg Road Louisville Kentucky 40218.
Donna was a devoted and passionate woman who approached every part of her life with dedication, purpose, and heart. A gifted beauty guru and a brilliant mind, she earned three degrees in the medical field and dedicated herself to the helping and care of others. Whether at work or with loved ones, her presence was known. Always going above and beyond, always striving to make every moment and every task meaningful.
Donna leaves behind her two daughters who were the pride of her life, four cherished grandchildren, two loving siblings, her beloved mother, and her sister-in-law, who was her bestest friend. Her strength, intelligence, and warmth will continue to guide and live on through those who knew her.
Donna’s presence will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who were fortunate enough to be part of her world.
