Earl Clayton, Jr., 93 of Louisville died Monday, January 20, 2020 at Louisville East.

He was a US Navy veteran and Precinct Captain in the 42nd district.

He leaves to cherish his memories; children, Sharon Billups, Bonnie Mitchell, Deborah Abernathy, Earl (Jowana) Clayton III, David Clayton and Donald Clayton, 16 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and 16 great great grandchildren, sister Hattie Slack, Lottie Duncan, Laurella (Wendell) Whyte, and Danella Walker, one brother David Clayton and nephew raised with his siblings Donald Mattingly, a host of nieces, nephews, and longtime friend, Mr. Tom Burch.

Visitation 6-8 Thursday, January 30, 2020 Newburg Church of Christ 4700 E. Indian Trail. Funeral 1 pm Friday, January 31, 2020 at his church. Burial Petersburg-Newburg Cemetery. W.T. Shumake & Daughters Funeral Home in charge.
