She accepted Christ at an early age at Star Hope Baptist Church. Ernestine graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1979. She worked in the Nursing Field as a CNA and retired from UPS after more than 20 years of service. Stiney as she was called by so many was a fun and upbeat person, her personality would light up a room. Although she was small in frame her words packed a big punch. She had positivity, a contagious and vibrant personality and the natural ability to make the people around her smile/laugh. She had a loving spirit and would welcome everyone that came into her presence. She wasn’t afraid to speak her mind and say what she was feeling and she meant what she said. She loved being a Mother to her 2 boys and was a very proud Grandmother. She lived for her family which was her heartbeat. She enjoyed life to the fullest, was a diehard UofL Cardinals Basketball Fan, she enjoyed Family Gatherings and spending Quality time with loved ones.
