Golden Seale Knowles Pollard, 80, of Louisville transitioned on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at Baptist Health Hospital surrounded by family.
Visitation 10-12 Wednesday April 30, 2025, at Forest Baptist Church 4500 Petersburg Road. Funeral to follow at 12. Burial Petersburg-Newburg Cemetery.
Golden Seale Knowles Pollard was born on December 13, 1944, in Powell County, Kentucky to the late Tintz S. Knowles and Jessie Chenault.
She enjoyed many things…collecting rooster items, cooking, baking pound cakes, sock-it- to-me cakes, banana pudding, sweet potato pies, watching U of L basketball and football games, and going to casinos.
She married Michael Pollard on October 30, 1976, and they spent over 48 years together. Together they enjoyed putting together jigsaw puzzles, traveling and pretending to like the Dallas Cowboys. She really was a Pittsburg Steelers fan.
Her Christian journey began at an early age and continued to flourish when she and her husband united with Forest Baptist Church for over 20 years.
On Wednesday, April 23, 2025, surrounded by family at Baptist Health Hospital, God called his child home. She is loved and remembered by her family; husband Michael Pollard, daughters, Edna Clark, Denise Clark (Victor); sons, Edward Clark (Kim), Ronald Pollard and Michael Pollard, Jr.; grandchildren, Shane, Ron Ron, Briana, Roni, Makayla, Rio, Duane, Edward III, Edna, Julius, Leon, Daija; sisters, Adaline Anderson, Seldon Sullivan (Don), Ella Jewell Owsley; and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins and friends.
