Ja’Shaun Terrell Brown Sr., known to his family and friends as “Jay”, was born to Rhonda & Michael Brown on August 8, 1987. He was the youngest of three children. Jashaun gained his wings on February 12, 2026.
“Fly baby, Fly.”
He accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Phillips Memorial CMB Church. The love of God was instilled in him by his family as a kid. Jashaun graduated from Central Magnet Career Academy in 2005 and headed to college. He was an all-around athlete and especially loved baseball, football, and bowling.
Jashaun loved his children. They were his world. He was happiest when he
was spending time with his children & family. He was the very best Dad and
took pride in it. He had a smile that could brighten any room. He was caring, thoughtful, and funny. Not only was he a great father, but a great son,
brother, nephew, cousin, and friend with the biggest heart. To know him was to love him.
Jay was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jamesetta Wheeler & Robert Jones, Sr., his fraternal grandparents, Frances Brown & Joe C. Brown,his older brother, Pierre, and his nephew, Michael (Mikey) Brown III.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his parents, Rhonda & Michael Brown Sr.; his brother, Michael Brown Jr.; and his children, Jashaun Jr., Jahlil, Jream & Jaylee. As well as numerous aunts, uncles, Godparents, nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives, extended family, and friends.
Our hearts will always have a void that will never be filled, and our love for Jashaun will remain, forever & always.
