James Roy Baker, 78, of Louisville died Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Norton Audubon Hospital. Survivors his son: James C.R. Baker (Chris), his daughter: Melinda “Nyree” Baker-Harrison; five grandchildren: JaiShon Elery, Rechelle Harrison, Nae-Nae Burks, Kyona Lee, Timothy Harrison, one great grandchild: Xedric Elery; four brothers: Richard Baker Anna), Thomas Baker, Bruce Baker (LaVada), and David Conway (Barbara); half-brother Myron-Kent Strohman “Cowboy” (Roxie), and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends. Visitation 6-9 Friday March 22, 2019 at Star Hope Baptist Church 5009 E. Indian Trail. Funeral 11 Saturday, March 23, 2019 at his church. Burial Petersburg-Newburg Cemetery.
