James Henry Brown died on Monday July 23, 2018. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Martha Brown; three sons Dennis (Deanna) Brown, Tony (Sarah) Brown, and Dana Calhoun; one daughter, Crystal Niang; eight grandchildren, Shandria McMillian, DeBroski (Marie) Brown, Jackson, MS; Keeva Brown, Antonio Brown, Jade Brown, Trennin Martin, Jaylen Martin and Malick Niang; one sister, Anna Rae Hilton, Matteson, IL; one brother, William "Billy" (Barbara) Brown, Detroit, MI; and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Visitation is Friday July 27, 2018 from 9-11 am at Taylortown AME Zion Church 10901 Ballardsville Rd Louisville, KY 40241. Funeral will follow at 11 am, also at the church. W.T. Shumake and Daughters Funeral Home in charge.
