Joni Endicott, 63, transitioned on Monday October 2, 2023 at Norton Women's & Children Hospital.

Joni Endicott was born on Monday, October 5, 1959 in Lima, OH. She was educated in the Lima City School System and played the flute in the band. She was a proud graduate of Lima Senior High School. Following graduation, Joni decided to spread her wings and moved to Sarasota, Florida.

After a while, Joni decided to move to Kentucky and planted herself in Shepherdsville. With more opportunities in Louisville, she relocated to Louisville and found employment at Kroger, working in the deli.

Throughout her life, Joni had many interests. She had an artistic flair and enjoyed painting and creating artwork. Fall was always her favorite season, maybe it was because she was born in the Fall, or it could be her enjoyment of watching the changing of the leaves and all the beautiful colorful landscapes. Working in her garden and being outside surrounded by flowers brought great joy to her.

Joni bowled in high school and loved to watch her sons bowl. She was an avid reader and collector of cookbooks. She was known to take a recipe, tweak it and make it her own. Danny would love to have her lemon chicken and dumplings again. Just about anything she cooked was noteworthy.

On Monday, October 2, 2023, Joni Endicott departed this life. She will be missed and those that had the pleasure of knowing her were blessed by her presence. She leaves to cherish her memory, her three children, Doug. Danielle, and Danny, who were her priority.
