Katie Louise Taylor Jones Willoughby, age 95, of Louisville, KY, returned to her Heavenly Father on May 6, 2026.

Visitation 5-8pm Thursday, May 14, 2026 at W.T. Shumake & Daughters Funeral Home 3815 Newburg Road and 10am- 10:30am Friday, May 15, 2026 at Lanier Memorial Baptist Church 4238 Hale Ave. Funeral will follow at 10:30am. Burial at Zachary Taylor National Cemetery 4702 Brownsboro Rd.

She is reunited in heaven with her two children, Clarence and Evelyn; her parents, Horace and Katie Madge Taylor; her husbands, Roosevelt Jones Sr. and Rev. Alton Willoughby; her brother-in-law, Madison Coger Harris Jr., and her nephew, Madison Cogar Harris III.

Her spirit lives on in her sister, Mary Elizabeth Harris; her children, Roosevelt Jones Jr., Kenneth Duane Jones (Penelope), and Carol Annette Jones Luvert (Stephen); her grandchildren, Karl Maurice Jones, Christopher Shawn Jones, Jeremy Keith Jones, Carrington Smith, Haley Jones, and Ivy Taylor Lewis; her ten great-grandchildren; her two sisters-in-laws and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
