Leatha Renee Turner was born Tuesday, September 12, 1972 to Willie James Turner and the late Mary Elizabeth Young Turner. She was the second child born of three of this union. Leatha confessed her faith in Christ at an early age and began her Christian journey. She was baptized at King Solomon Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Charles Elliott, Jr. Educated in the Clark County School system, Leatha attended Jeffersonville High School and later worked for years at King Fish. Leatha Turner was known as NaNa, and to the kids Ms NaNa. She was full of life and lived life to the fullest. She was a joy to be around because she could bring laughter and a smile to any occasion. She was an awesome cook who feed the whole neighborhood and would take in anybody in need. In her spare time she enjoyed playing cards and dominos with family and friends as well. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Elizabeth Turner. Leatha Renee Turner departed this life Friday, October 5, 2018 at Clark County Hospital. She leaves to cherish her memories, her beloved children daughter: Nicole Turner, sons: Devon Allen, Jr, Dionte Allen, father: Willie (Vivian) Turner, three sisters: Yvonne (Keith) Whitfield, Tara (Doug) Boyce, Monica (James) Edmonds, one brother: Richard (Zhenya) Robinson, granddaughter: Nyla Allen and a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
