London Rae Churchill, 36, passed away on August 5th, 2024, in Cape Girardeau, MO, at 10:00 am.
Visitation 10-12 Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at Canaan Christian Church

London Rae Churchill was born on March 8th, 1988, in Louisville, KY, to Tanya Churchill-Skinner and Michael Silvas Martinez. London was lovingly raised by her mother and bonus father, James Skinner, who provided her with a nurturing and supportive home.
At an early age, London gave her life to Christ at Canaan Christian Church, under the discipleship of Rev. Walter Malone Jr. Her faith was a guiding light throughout her life, and she drew strength from her church community.
London was a proud graduate of Fern Creek High School. Known for her infectious smile and warm heart, she never met a stranger and easily made friends wherever she went.
London had a deep passion for cooking, using her culinary talents to express her love and creativity. Her kitchen was always filled with laughter and the aroma of delicious food, as she loved to share her skills with others. A true music enthusiast, she adored singing and was a devoted fan of all things Beyoncé. Her best moments were spent surrounded by family and loved ones, where her love for cooking and music shone brightly.
London is survived by her loving parents, James and Tanya Skinner, and her biological father, Michael Silvas Martinez. She leaves behind her cherished sisters, Andriana Seay (Brian), Tori Churchill, Edana Martinez, Breanna Martinez, and Valerie Martinez. Her beloved niece and nephew, Lola Sumners and Cruz Holt, will dearly miss their aunt.
She is also survived by her grandparents, Gussie and Tony Churchill, Robert Martinez, Triella Talbott, and Evelyn Silvas Maciel, who remember her with love and pride. London held a special place in the hearts of her uncle and aunt, Steven Churchill (Jackie) and Schanda Churchill-Winburn (Tyrone), and her cousins and "best friends," Justin Churchill and Sanii Winburn.
London is fondly remembered by Kelly Swearingen, known as "Momma 2," her godmother Sharon Fowler, affectionately called "Laudi-Lu," and a host of very special aunts, uncles, and cousins who will forever cherish her memory.
London Rae Churchill's warmth, kindness, and joyful spirit touched the lives of many. Her legacy of love and laughter will be carried on by all who knew her.
