Graveside services will be held at Kentucky Veteran Cemetery- Central Thursday, August 17, 2023 at 2:30pm. 2501 N. Dixie Blvd, Radcliff, Kentucky.
Malcolm Mac Onley, Jr. was born August 19, 1945 in Baltimore, Maryland. He was known to be the major household “Chef”, preparing many delicious meals.
Malcolm’s leisure time was spent enjoying listening to soothing Jazz, classic R & B, taking relaxing walks, and reading anything that stimulated his mind.
Malcolm’s employment, prior to enlisting into the Military, was as a Draftsman, who read blueprints. Afterwards, he enlisted into the United States Army, and spent 20 years serving his country. He spent 15 years in Iran as a Civilian Contractor, who trained soldiers, and another 5 years in Thailand, performing the same duty as he did in Iran. It was often said that Malcolm was a workaholic who didn’t let any green grass grow under his feet.
If you know of a “backstage” person, that would be Malcolm, because he did not want attention for what he did or provided for others. He just did what he felt needed to be done, without boasting. He was an avid gift giver. On holidays, he would not only give gifts on the day of the holiday, but would give gifts the whole entire month. HE WAS A TRUE MAN!!
Malcolm Mac Onley, Jr., departed his earthly home on August 5, 2023 at the age of 77 years, with his devoted wife, Kimberly, at his side at home. He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Kimberly Onley; son, Anthony Onley; stepdaughter, Margaretta Walker; stepson, Stefan Walker, Jr.; and two wonderful grandchildren.
