Marshell Vonne Thompson/ Trinity Love Sullivan,63, of Louisville transitioned on Wednesday, December 13, 2023.
Visitation 11am - 1pm Friday, December 22, 2023 at Community Missionary Baptist Church 4909 E. Indian Trail. Funeral to follow at 1pm.
Marshell Vonne Thompson was gifted to the world as an Angel on July 20, 1960, to the proud parents, Marie Pauline Hayes and Richard Allen Thompson, but was also born in love and great honor to Anna and Rev. Walter Sullivan. She was the 4th of 5 children.
At the tender age of 6 years old, Marshell was baptized by Rev. William T. Shumake, Pastor of Community Missionary Baptist Church. Marshell loved the Lord above all else.
Marshell was the mother to three beautiful children, Melissa, Dawnese and Joshua. After becoming a mother, she graduated from the School of Hair Design, and actively, rather passionately, worked as a Licensed Cosmetologist for over 40 years. In her leisure time, she enjoyed crocheting and making jewelry.
Marshell found great peace in writing and reading books, but her greatest joy came from her love for Jesus. Jesus is love! She embarked on a spiritual journey and rebirth, and in 2015, Trinity Love Sullivan was born (her reborn name).
Marshell touched the hearts of many people. She never met a stranger. Many can remember her pure heart, remarkable smile, and a giving nature. If any of those escape your memory, Trinity left enough pictures to fill all of our broken hearts.
Marshell Vonne Thompson, departed this life on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 (just before her favorite holiday – Christmas), and was called home to be with the Lord. Trinity was walking in her favorite neighborhood, which she often did, when her journey came to a tragic end. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marie Hayes and Richard Thompson. She leaves to cherish her memories, her children, Melissa Son’Sha Thompson, Dawnese Isis Thompson, and Joshua RayVon Thompson; grandchildren, Devontay J. Thompson, Kiyondre’ T. Thompson, Stuart D. Strother II, and Carter T. Simpson; great grandchildren, Braelyn and Jenesis Thompson; siblings, Robin, Sheila, Wysonda and Richard Thompson; and other relatives and friends.
