Ollie Mae Holt Sykes, 83, died Monday at her home.

She was a member of Star Hope Baptist Church and was a retired employee of Bellarmine College.

Survivors her husband, Rev. Sylvester Sykes; children Jeffrey, James, Joyce, Anthony, Darlene, Sylvester, Jr., Mark, Shell; siblings Henry, Grady, Geneva and Bobbie Jean; 26 grandchildren, 28 greatgrandchildren.

Funeral and burial are private. W.T. Shumake & Daughters in charge.
