Patricia Ann Cochran, 76, of Louisville transitioned on Thursday, March 23, 2026.

Memorial Service Sunday, April 5, 2026 2pm at W.T. Shumake & Daughters Funeral Home 3815 Newburg Road.

Patricia Ann Hunter Cochran was born on March 3, 1949, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Georgia Ann Taylor and William Hunter. Her Christian journey began at an early age when she joined Forest Baptist Church.

Patricia was a proud graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School. In her spare time, she enjoyed riding her motorcycle—sometimes solo and other times with fellow members of the Petersburg Motorcycle Club. She also loved driving her favorite fast Z-28 T-Top. Patricia was truly a diva who took pride in her stylish clothing and unique jewelry.

She never met a stranger and was a friend to everyone. Patricia was an active member of her community, known for her strong work ethic and dedication. She was an excellent cook and retired after many years of service from Hurstbourne Country Club.

In October of 1973, Patricia married Thomas Cochran, and together they had one daughter, Tammy Cochran.
On Monday, March 23, 2026, Patricia Ann Hunter Cochran departed this life. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Tammy Cochran Tooley; her grandchildren, Damon Tooley II and Devin Tooley (Kelsey); her siblings, Sondra Gathright (Ron) and Linda Sowell (Wayne); and a host of family, friends, and neighbors.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Georgia Ferrell; her father, William Hunter; and “Goochie.”
