Ra'Sha Darenza Moore, 48, of Louisville transitioned on March 17, 2024.
Visitation 10-12 Saturday, March 30, 2024 at Star Hope Baptist Church 5009 E. Indian Trail. Funeral to follow at 12 noon.
Ra’Sha Darenza Moore was born on October 8, 1975, in Osceola, Arkansas, to the proud parents of Billy Moore and Linda Britton Moore.
He accepted Christ at an early age at Tabernacle Church of God, under the pastorate of Pastor Howard Thomas where he sung in the Choir.
Ra’Sha graduated from Benton Harbor High School, in Benton Harbor, MI. During his years there he was on the Track Team, Jr. ROTC, and the School Band. He was very smart and gifted in Mathematics.
After moving to Memphis, Tennessee, Ra’Sha found employment as a Security Guard. He was a” jack of all trades” and a master of them all. He loved to cook up great dishes. If he tasted it, he could make it. His other interests included woodworking, singing, working word puzzles (which he could do in an hour), and he loved playing dominos.
Ra’Sha had a great love for his family, especially his grandchildren. The highlight of his life was being a great husband, father, granddad, uncle, and took special pride in being a son and big brother to Aaron D. Moore (who preceded him in death). Ra’Sha loved family gatherings.
On Sunday, March 17, 2024 Ra’Sha Derenza Moore departed this life. He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife: Kristy Taylor Moore, children: Breeasia Moore, Katierra Taylor, and Kavon Taylor R. Moore; parents: Billy Moore and Linda Moore; sisters; Rita Moore, Degeei Scott (Cleo), Laretta Brittmon Moore; grandchildren: Roniyah, Remeris, and Savion Moore; aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, and other family and friends.
