Apr 25 at 1:12 AM Rebecca Consuela Wilson Hancock, 52 of Louisville died Sunday at Norton Pallative Care Inpatient Unit., date of birth September 24, 1961 date of death April 13, 2014 Rebecca Consuela Wilson Hancock was born in Louisville, Kentucky, on September 24, 1961, to Catherine Cook and Alvey Wilson. From the very beginning, her sweet agreeable disposition always made her a joy to be around. She was a hard worker, who spent most of her time taking care of family. She enjoyed the simple things in life- playing solitaire, waking up early – gathering “Moo Moo” (the family dog) and everyone who wanted to go to the flea market shopping for bargains, or sitting quietly listening to her favorite song “Constant Sorrow” from the movie soundtrack “O Brother Where Art Thou.” “Connie,” as she was fondly called by family and friends had a heart of gold. She was a person that didn’t mix words. She said what she meant and meant what she said! She was always clear in her instructions. Connie was preceded in death by two of our daughters, Nicole and Brook Wilson. After a short battle with multiple health issues, Rebecca Consuela Wilson Hancock departed this life on April 13, 2014. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband James Hancock, sons James Reefer, Charles Marshall, James Edward(Butch), nine grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.
