Reginald "Reggie" Keith Hopson, 40,of Louisville passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2024.

Visitation 11-12 Saturday, December 28, 2024 at W.T. Shumake & Daughters Funeral Home 3815 Newburg Road. Funeral to follow at 12 noon.

Reginald Keith Hopson was born April 16, 1984 in Louisville, Kentucky to Sharon Elaine Hopson and Mark Mitchell. He was their oldest child of two. Kevin being the youngest.
Educated in the Jefferson County Public School System, “Reggie” as he was called by family and friends, graduated from Fairdale High School in 2002.

Reggie was easy-going and laid back, never causing any problems. However, he was stubborn and lived life on his terms, doing what he wanted to do.
He worked on numerous jobs, from working as a laborer for warehouses, restaurants and handyman. His greatest joy was being around the family, especially his three children. In his spare time he was a U of L cardinal fan.

On Tuesday, December 17, 2024, Reginald departed this life. He leaves to cherish his memory, his three children, Azariah Renee Hopson, S’amariah Regina Hopson and Sharon Melissa Ann Hopson; his precious grandson Zy’mir Roye Dole, and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
