Ricky Marcellous Lewis was born on March 6, 1964 in Louisville, Kentucky, to proud parents, Earl Lewis and Lenora Girton. He was one of three children. Ricky “Diddy”, as he was sometimes affectionately called, received his education in the Jefferson County Public Schools. He was very crafty with his hands in “fixing” almost anything that had a motor in it. He had a passion for motorcycles, in particular, but could showcase his mechanic skills by repairing cars and motorcycles. Ricky loved to ride his motorcycle, and you would often see him cruising along the streets on the weekends. Let it be a sunny day, and he could ride for hours and hours on his motorcycle.

Home renovations was also a skill Ricky possessed. He was a “Jack of all Trades”. He had contractor and carpenter skills that would improve the appearance of houses he chose to renovate. “Diddy” was characterized as a person who was very down to earth. He could keep you laughing; he was cheerful, and could bring a smile to your face; a loving individual who enjoyed life, and the people who surrounded him. Ricky was preceded in death by his parents.

On Friday, January 6, 2023, Ricky Marcellous Lewis departed this life for his eternal resting place. He leaves to cherish his memories, his only daughter, Keisha Graham Greene; two brothers, Earl and Winfred Lewis; two grandchildren, Tavionna Graham and Avieon Greene, his aunts and uncles, Georgia Rogers, Freddie Girton, Frances Lewis and Jo Evelyn Lewis; and a host of other relatives and friends
