Robert" Bebop" Jackson, 77, of Louisville transitioned on Friday, January 16, 2026.
Visitation 11am - 12pm Saturday, Juanry 24, 2026 at Forest Baptist Church 4500 Petersburg Road. Funeral to follow at 12 noon.
Robert Jackson was born on October 12, 1948 to the late Annie Pearl Sellers and Hezekiah Jackson in Haynesville, Alabama. He was one of nine children. He was educated in the Birmingham Public School system.
Robert relocated to Louisville, Kentucky in the mid-seventies. He accepted Christ and was baptized under the former Pastor Carl Jones of Forest Baptist Church.
Robert loved cooking, basketball, dancing, caring for the elderly and joking with children. He worked most of his life in construction, but his joy came later in life with his employment with Crown of Jewels Academy as a van driver and Hairs Angels in maintenance where he was lovingly called “UNC”!.
On January 16, 2026, he was called to take his rest.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Annie Grant, Loubertha Pfifer, Eddie Mae, and Brandy Anderson; brothers, Philip Sellers and Willie Hobo Jackson.
He leaves to cherish his memories his daughters, Sonya Harper and Joy Jackson; eight grandchildren, Labarron, Lamar, Jamal Jackson, Jeremiah Jackson Harper, Timayah Harper, Moriah Walker, Elijah and Zion Price; sixteen great grandchildren, three sisters, Gleasine Williams, Annie Wren (Birmingham, Al) Rhonda Faye Jones (Anthony), Sumter South Carolina, one sister in-law: Shirley Jackson and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
