Scott Earl Todd, Jr., 68 transitioned on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at Jewish Hospital.

Memorial Service will be held 6:00pm Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at W.T. Shumake & Daughters Funeral Home 3815 Newburg Road.

Scott Earl Todd Jr. was born in Louisville, Kentucky on Monday, March 8, 1954 to Scott Earl Todd Sr,. and Jennie Dickerson Todd. He was one of 7 children. He was known as “Junior” or “Uncle Junior” to some. Scott was a graduate of Eastern High School where he excelled in track and field. At an early age Scott became adept in carpentry and construction which he did throughout his life. He was good at “fixing things” and was called upon often to do so.

Scott also thoroughly enjoyed fishing. Listening to all sorts of music, especially the “oldies and goodies” and watching old movies, especially Western’s were a pastime of his. He loved watching all sports, and his favorite teams were the Louisville Cardinals and his beloved Cincinnati Reds.

Later in life, Scott united with Beargrass Baptist Church, and was baptized there under the leadership of the late Reverend Calvin D. White, a family friend whom he admired and looked up to.

Sadly, Scott Earl Todd Jr. at the age of 68, passed on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at Jewish Hospital. He is survived by children LaTanya Collins (Carlos), Scott Earl Todd, III, Robert Scott Bald, Takisha Mack, Daivon Mack, Micah Mack and Jaayln Mack. In addition to his children, Scott is survived by sister Vicki Todd, brother James Pope, by 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by brothers, Elbert Pope, Don Pope, Joseph Pope and sister Delores Baruch.
