Terry Lee Lewis was born on Tuesday, September 2, 1958 in Louisville, Kentucky to the union of Joseph and Anna Coleman Lewis., and to this union five children blessed their lives. Educated in the Jefferson County Public School system, Terry was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School. Terry learned how to work on cars by working with his father. He was known throughout the Newburg neighborhood as a mechanic and he considered everyone family. He was always willing to help anyone in need. Sharing what he knew with the younger kids was so greatly appreciated they consider him their mentor because he was an encourager. His motto was, ““You get out of life what you put in”. Terry worked as a machine operator for Conco Inc for many years. He loved to fish, hunt, cook, and spend time with his family. On January 21, 2017 Terry departed this life He leaves to cherish his memories four sons: Terry Beasley, Romon Lewis, Joseph Lewis and, Stephen Marshall; two daughters Simone Lewis,and La’shonda Lewis, four brothers: Michael, Ronald, Donald and Joe Lewis, seven grandchildren, a host of relatives and friends. Visitation 1-2pm Saturday January 28, 2017, Community Missionary Baptist Church 4909 E. Indian Trail. Memorial Service 2pm Saturday at the church
