Wannetta White December 9, 1952 – October 20, 2018, died at the hospital. Funeral Saturday October 27, 2018 10AM at Community Missionary Baptist Church 4909 E. Indian Trail. Burial Louisville Cemetery. The beginning of life is a special gift from God. Wannetta is, and will always, remain a special gift to this family. Wannetta White “Auntie”, was born December 9, 1952 to the union of Alvin and Margaret White in Lexington, Kentucky. Her siblings affectionately called her Dada. She was a kind and giving person, always willing to help others. She attended Henry Clay High School in Lexington, Kentucky. She accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal savior during her teenage years. After moving to Louisville, Kentucky she joined Forest Tabernacle Baptist Church. For the past few years she has been attending Community Hope Baptist Church. She was a dedicated employee of Presbyterian Homes for thirty-three years serving as the senior dietician. Wannetta was a loving, caring Mother, Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Godmother and Great Godmother and Friend. She without a doubt, will be missed by all who knew her. The Lord favored her with His call on October 20, 2018, and she departed this life for her forever home with Jesus Christ. Preceding her in death is Alvin White (Father), Armenta and Celeste White (Sisters) Kalia White (Niece) and Miracle Slaughter (Great-Great Niece). Wannetta now resides in a place of no pain. She leaves behind many wonderful memories. Survivors include daughter: Felicia, mother, Margaret; brothers and sisters, James (Dottie), Melvin (Gabe), Marilyn, Willis, Wanda, Margaret, Clara, Beverly, Robert, Phillip (Niecy), Cheryl, Kenneth (Michelle), Jonathan, Bernetta White, and a special friend, Fredrick Davidson. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and numerous relatives and friends.
